It works like it says on the tin
Having already bought the Toshiba 32" 1080p TV I have found that this recorder integrates well with it and makes a nice package. It is relatively easy to use and the results are very good. The manual though has not kept up with some of the products latest features so is less than ideal. On the whole a good product which I can recommend.

This is easy.
I unpacked this unit, let it get to room temperature as it was delivered on a very cold day.Connected it up which was a question of following the diagram. Swithed on and it tuned in to analog and digital channels very quickly. It does come with a very good guide book, but once you start to play with it, it very quickly becomes apparent the logic behind the machine. I edit the material on the hard disc, when correct I protect it. Then it a question of putting in the disc you wish to record to and start dubbing. There is so much room on the hard disc that you can play your recorded disc through before you need think of deleting the original.

Excellent Machine - Fairly easy to use
Excellent quality machine. Easy to use once you have mastered the instructions. Overall picture quality very good/excellent. I've had machine now for about 6 weeks and would recommend anyone to buy.

Excellent replacement for analogue machine
With digital TV fast approaching, I ordered this recorder to replace my old analogue stuff. The Toshiba is excellent and great value for money from Amazon. The instruction book is long but very detailed and set up was simple, it took me 5 1/2 minutes to get it installed, tuned and test recording. There are many options to play with and explore, it records my old items very easily and recording TV programs is very simple, again with loads of options as to timer recording, play back, and so much it's capable of doing, I'm having great fun practicing and experimenting. Dubing HDD/DVD and vise versa, is going to be a breeze, with the option of adding audio too. I do not have a SKY box thingy so I can't say how well it would record, the instructions do show what to do; it all seems straight forward and very easy to use. Top marks Toshiba, I've always used Philips in the past, this machine is a worthy successor.
