It is so slow it is practically useless. The lag between taking one photo and it being ready for the next you could have a cup of tea in.
Quality of photos is average, there is not a great deal good I can say, I am just annoyed I bought it and unfortunately I am stuck with it as I cant just afford to go buy another one.

NOT waterproof
(1 out of 5) by Mark Dobson on Jul 3, 2009 (UK)Very simply the camera I had (and from other reviews it seem many other) was not waterproof to a couple of metres, never mind 10m.
When I returned it to the retailer (not Amazon) they simply said that it had leaked due to improper use and refused to refund/repair it.
Apart from that it was a good camera while it lasted and a shame as a great concept.

It's not as waterproof as you're lead to believe

Amazon were good to replace, when Olympus failed to respond to the complaint. Kept out of water, the replacement is still working.

(5 out of 5) by Nick Andrew on May 1, 2009I did quite a lot of research before choosing this camera and have no regrets since... this camera works exactly as described. If I had a complaint, it would be that the pictures seem a little blander than other cameras, but that's easily fixed. I like the fact that the camera can be tailored to take the type of picture that I need, but I can also give it to my 3 year old nephew and not worry about him dropping it.
all-in-all, I'm very happy with this camera (in case you hadn't noticed...!)

OK images, but soon leaked like a seive

I has proved resistent to samd, children and water - for a while.
After a couple of months, it leaked water whilst in my pocket when I was wading. No erroneous "compartment open" messages, like other people - just water inside.
Olympus Australia contract out their repairs, and the agent has given very poor service, losing the receipt I sent them, and refusing to dicuss repairs without an International Warantee card, despite Olympus Oz saying one wasn't required.
Luckily AmazonUK has offered a refund (although initially they offered to replace it, they now can't do that internationally).
I will certainly look at other brands of waterproof camera before I buy another of these.
