Not much you can brag about a HP Power pack!

I found this one offered on Amazon after realising that a replacement from the manufacturer would be more than double the cost!
Great service from the supplier (Computer Trading) as not many sellers actually publicise a contact telephone number. Anyway, called them up as I was not sure of the exact requirements and they pointed me in the right direction to this listing and hey presto.
The power adapter was delivered the next day (no extra cost) and has worked a treat (I even got a cloverleaf power cord with the adapter, something that usually costs extra).
I'm not sure if the actual unit was brand new but for the price (and the fact that it's been working for over a month) I'm not too bothered.

Not Good Enough HP

Chronic design fault they are just asking to be bent and then snap off in the position there are in. Luckily the replacement wasn't too pricy for OEM but I would expect it to last more than 8months !
Not good enough HP, and the laptop itself has a list of deficiencies as long as your arm. Wouldn't buy another from them.

Outer cable sheared off after one week

I should send it back but have adapted one end from the old unit and one end from the new unit and am using this rather than the hassle of sending it back.
