Easycap

(1 out of 5) by P. Sansom on Oct 29, 2009 (Addlestone UK)
If you read the Forward Video website, the official maker of the EZcap product it is clear that the cheap Easycap devices are copies of their product.

They no longer supply devices called Easycap, all the new ones are EZcap.

It is clear this reputable company is getting a very bad name by cheap copies that do not work properly, so buyers beware and you certainly do get what you pay for.

Good bit of kit for the price

(4 out of 5) by R. Barrett on Nov 23, 2009 (Surrey, England)
I bought it based on Amazon reviews, and it came bundled with a SCART adaptor to go in the VCR Scart Adapter Switchable Plug to Socket for silly money. Installation was dead easy but didn't bother with the video editing software as other reviewers found the likes of Windows Movie Maker better. Plug the bits in, connect the two with an RCA plug-to-plug cable and launch! The rest is down to your video editing skills.

GOOD PRODUCT but hard to master

(1 out of 5) by Mr. A. M. Hall on Oct 29, 2009 (kent)
I recently purchased the easy cap. It took longer to be delivered due to the postal strike which I can forgive. One warning when buying product to film your xbox 360 play. You need a lot of stuff to get it up and running. I'm not going to go over them but look on some utube videos to give you an idea of what you need. I must say it is extremely hard to master the product but when you do it is fantastic!!! Thanks

Even works with skype

(5 out of 5) by R. Spiller on Dec 1, 2009 (Bucks, UK)
I bought this device to attempt to connect a composite video feed to a PC for use with skype.
It works flawlessly - skype recognised it and the feed is great.

Functional, Easy to Use and set up

(4 out of 5) by Rambo99 on Nov 29, 2009
The product was easy to set up, though it can be confusing because it is supplied with two sets of instructions for two different products, but once it was figured out, it was fine and the instructions were detailed. The software has so far worked without a glitch. It is a simple software, would recommend though if you want to use it very frequently, just install the drivers first, then use your own software. Delivery was quick and item was not damaged, happy with seller.
