This is a great little case for all Sony Camera owners out there. It's soft enough to protect your delicate camera and yet tough enough to protect it from the elements. It does exactly as it says really. I'm curruntly using it for my Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 and have to say it protects it really well, doesn't leave any scratches or marks on the camera at all. It fastens with a velcro tab and has a small zipped compartment on the front for a spare battery or memory card. Overall, a great product and well worth the money. Much better value than other unofficial camera cases available. Plain, simple and good value for money.

Entirely agree with others who say this is bulky and inflexible.

Well below usual sony standards of both quality and style.

My original one came from amazon marketplace and was probably fake, but i checked out a genuine one at the Sony shop in Kensington which was not much better and at full sony price very poor value

I wanted a small case for my camera so I bought this as the recommended case from the manufacturer.
It is a bulky inflexible product taking up far more space than necessary for the camera it is holding which defeats the object of carrying a small camera with me at all times.
In addition the Sony badge came off easily.
I no longer use the case but keep the camera in the bag that came with it at no extra charge.
The vendor had promised me my money back as I was so disgruntled but so far has failed to keep his promise.

I'm disappointed. It is stiff and bulky - about the same size as carrying my old regular camera around in it's genuinely soft case, which defeats the purpose of my investment in a digital camera, so I could carry it at all times without the bulk.

Excellent case for my W50. It's not too soft, so it will certainly protect it from being dropped. Although I haven't tried that yet. Keeps the camera safe from being scratched and I'm very happy with my purchase.
