PT AE2000E Truly Excellent

(5 out of 5) by David P. Whistler on Jan 4, 2008 (Wiltshire UK)
HD performance with Panasonic Blu-Ray player is truly stunning.
The different set-ups and many controls/adjustments will keep me happy for a very long time.
Tip - use a PowerMid IR extender so that you can easily view the screen for the split screeen set-up without having to point the remote behind you.

Awesome

(5 out of 5) by N. Mcclellan on May 28, 2008 (uk)
This is the third projector I have owned, the second Panasonic.
The Picture is pin sharp, Colours are vibrant and realistic. Black and shadowy pictures have definition and stand out.
DVD movies look great - BLURAY and HDDVD simply stunning.
In this price range it cannot be bettered.

10 months in and it still is the best video image I have ever seen

(5 out of 5) by D. Allonby on Oct 28, 2008
I got mine a little over ten months ago I think, the first was a DOA and was swapped without and commotion at all(Customer service is never tested when things work).

I'm feeding it with a PS3 on Blue Ray and a Toshiba for HD-DVD and it is truly fantastic, Pixar Cars on BD-DVD is out of this world for colour and resolution as is Transformers on HD-DVD...

It is also annoyingly quiet, so much so that I have no reasonable excuses for pushing up the power on the amps any more:-)

There are many many options and settings you can use with them but it was so good out of the box that I haven't even bothered to take a look.

If you buy it I cant see what you would find to dislike about it other than perhaps the size(Doesn't bother me as I tend to be looking the other way). It is bigger that I expected coming from a PT-AE100E but I soon got used to it...

Cheers...
