Superb ipod speakers and dock!
Excellent sound, build and value! If you have an ipod and are looking for a well designed unit, look no further.
Don't let the minimal functions on the remote put you off, Klipsch have placed the focus on true audiophile sound quality at a remarkable price, half that of the Bose and in my opinion better sound.
The footprint is really small, only as high as an ipod classic and about 300mm wide with black cloth speaker covers rather than cheap plastic.
Go for it, you will not regret it.

Star performer
This item was just as advertised. Great sound, especially in average size rooms. I am more than happy with my purchase of the Klipsch iGroove SXT iPod sound system and would highly recommend it to anyone considering this as their docking station system. I had looked at buying the iGroove but this is a smaller unit with roughly the same output and looks beautiful with my iPod Touch. Thanks Amazon!

EXCELLENT!
Couldn't decide between this SXT and the HG model for a while as I liked the design of the HG but went for SXT model in the end because of it being newer and smaller.
Unfortunetly the first speaker was returned to Amazon due to the power supply not working so my new iPod was speakerless for Christmas untill the 27th which was a pain.
I was a bit worried about my choice at first because I read reviews that the SXT was down on power and may not be as loud as the HG. Well, I was not disappointed. The sound of the Klipsch SXT is amazing, can't believe the bass that comes from such a small unit and is plenty loud enough for my living room, with no major signs of distortion at high volume ..... would recommend this speaker dock, well worth the money ..... EXCELLENT!

iGroove SXT - Excellent!
I'd been looking for a speaker dock for my new iPod Classic 80GB for a little while, and had tried out various other units including the Bose Sound Dock, and various Altec Lansing and Creative products. Having read the reviews of the Klipsch product, I decided to give it a go. I have to say that in the few days since the product was delivered, I have been thoroughly impressed.
The sound quality is superb with deep bass and responsive treble, and puts out far more sound that one could reasonably expect from such a compact piece of kit. I have previously owned a Bose Wave Radio/CD that I used to use with an older generation iPod, and the Klipsch SXT whilst not matching the sonic performance of that particular system certainly gets very close. This is particularly impressive when one considers that the BOSE system costs at least four times more than the SXT.
The only niggle I have with the SXT so far, is that the remote control unit doesn't seem particularly responsive. However, I consider this a small price to pay for a speaker dock that offers such exceptional value for money.
If you are looking for a speaker dock for your iPod, the Klipsch iGroove SXT should certainly at or near the top of your shortlist.

Very Impressed
What I wanted was a discreet quality Ipod amp/speaker dock for under 100 quid. Primarily to use in the kitchen and study/bedroom. I had never heard of Klipsch but they seemed well reviewed, so I crossed my fingers and ordered the STX. I also considered the bigger HG model as well but, preferred the look, size and price the STX. Both seemed to have similar specs anyway.
First impressions are... My! it certainly is small! but is actually quite heavy and has a solid "well made" look and feel about it.
The STX has exceeded my expectations sound-wise, as others have already said; if you crank it up it certainly can pack a punch with impressive bass and the mid and top end all in there as well, some other units I have heard are bassey but do not have enough mid and a bit much top and sound a bit unnatural, not this one though sounds great both loud and mid volume, clear and warm for such a tiny thing.
Also as important to me are low volume levels, the STX still sounds warm and rich, everything's there and well balanced when its turned right down. This is always a sign of good design and quality, I think.
Niggles:
It said in the instructions that the apple dock adapter (that comes with your Ipod) would fit the STX, I have a 160GB Classic and the dock adapter that came with it (no 10) does not fit in the STX, Klipsch do provide their own adapters with the STX, most sizes apart from 10!! duno if it just got missed out or they haven't made one yet. Anyway the no 1 seems to work with the classic for now. Anyone else get a size 10 with their STX?
It would be nice to have more control of the Ipod via the remote, i.e. get into menus and play-lists etc. Proper buttons on the remote would be better as well.
Conclusion:
For £89 you really cannot go wrong though, you could easily pay as much or more for less. I am very happy with my purchase. Sounds really great looks good. I will definitely be checking out more Klipsch products in the future.
