(1 out of 5) by Paul Jones on Nov 19, 2009 (UK)Sound quality is poor (as one might anticipate to be fair) but more importantly the sound cannot be turned down any lower (other than silent of course) than a level so loud that the tv is unusable at night in a quiet house/caravan/boat - it will disturb all around.
I'm sure this is a design flaw.
Amazon were good about it though, refund received.

poor service from Daewoo

Daewoo engineer took TV away for a week and returned it unfixed.
Very poor after sales service and poor quality product. If you want a good reliable TV/DVD don't buy this one. Also you can't receive all the freeview channels that you can get with a separate box.

great customer service
(4 out of 5) by adam Jessup on Aug 18, 2008 (london)having owned this product for 8 months, the dvd has just malfunctioned. i telephoned daewoo this morning and they have arranged an engineer to come and pick it up. until now the tv has been superb and i will look out for daewoo products in the future

Disappointed with the TV

I was excited about the features on the TV, Freeview,HD ready,DVD player, Memory card readers and a USB. Most of all what I thought to be a good brand "Daewoo", turned out to be worse than a similar LCD TV/DVD I could have bought from ALDI for £199.00 with a three year warranty.
I can not belive Daewoo can produce such rubbish TV. It has a continuous Buzzing noise, the sound is very tinny, the sound volume on the lowest level is too high for a bedroom. I can not get the picture to remain on full view.
I have not tried the DVD player yet. This TV, may be going back, very soon.

Not bad

Excellent in daylight, but loses 1 star for me, because it is our bedroom TV and when the lights are off, the picture has a weird picture quality as the surface it is on is higher than the bed, however if you are looking straight on the picture's fine.
