Good value frame

(4 out of 5) by cancat reader on Aug 15, 2008 (Somersetshire.U.K.)
I was looking for a photo frame which would take both a sd and xd card. There aren't very many reasonably priced frames on the market which take xd cards, I had a shortlist of 3!I chose this make for the good reviews and price over others on the market. The resolution means that photos aren't very crisp close up, but really these frames are to be viewed at a distance. It is great to view pictures just taken and with the remote control friends and relatives can scroll through pictures. This is easy to use and an excellent buy.I would recommend it highly.

Great price and very good picture quality.

Its a shame there isn't a random feature.

Puzzling fault

(3 out of 5) by A. T. Rolfe on Jan 24, 2008
I've had two of these now (I had to take the first one back) and they both suffered from the same fault: after a period of time, usually about half an hour, the slide show freezes and won't move on to the next picture without intervention. Maybe there is some interference somewhere. Other than that I agree with all the other reviewers - the pictures look great! It seems odd to have a 16:9 screen, though, when the standard for digital photos is 4:3.

problem solved

(4 out of 5) by Mr. K. Norton on Dec 30, 2007
Thanks to son - in- law we have entered the 21st. century.
We have discovered what the 'extra' cable in the box is, and how to use it.- although it is not mentioned in the User guide.
There is now no problem viewing from a memory stick which came below the level of the frame so preventing the picture frame from standing.
It is a USB adapter cable!!
We are now very satisfied with the product and are enjoying sharing folders and files from recent holidays with friends.

Bad design

(1 out of 5) by robbie on Feb 26, 2008 (london)
The only thing that let's it down, and it's very important, is that the usb slot is at the bottom of the frame rather than at the side. It's ridiculous to have it here because a standard usb key is too long for the photoframe to stand upright because it sticks out of the bottom of the frame. So you have to try a find a usb key that's small enough - good luck! Designer should be sacked.
