Works better than it looks....

(5 out of 5) by Duncan on Jul 17, 2009 (England, UK)
This device, and it's packaging, look like something a 4 year old designed. Badly.

It does, however, work like something NASA designed. I've plugged it into my Dell desktop (running 64-bit Vista) and it's currently got a Tomtom, Ipod, external USB-powered drive and a Canon 450D camera plugged into it. And they're all working without any problems whatsoever.

As far as I can tell Vista largely ignored it when I plugged it in - the thing just works - which is pretty much all you need to know.

You either like the design, don't like the design, or care not one way or the other but just want a powered 7-port USB hub - if it's the latter, you need look no further!

Very good - no problems

I needed to update an ancient USB hub, and this one is great. It just works. Very good.

So far so good

(5 out of 5) by J. Whitaker on Jul 8, 2009 (London)
I got this because I've only got three usb ports on my laptop and so the 4 external hard drives + mouse + pen drives + printer + card reader + screen calibrator + ... was becoming a little too much! So far the belkin has worked flawlessly and is a tidy addition to my desk.

I can't ask much more than that!

Very good little hub.

(5 out of 5) by H. Jessop on Mar 28, 2009 (UK)
This is a very good little hub, looks bigger than it is, but it does exactly what it says.

Belkin stuff is always good quality, also some cheap hubs dont work well with Vista but this one works fine.

The detachable 4port section works fine with its own little light and the ability to rotate through 180 degrees, also when it is plugged into the main hub there are connecters so it is also powered like the base.

The base is also perfect for keeping all your usb drives.

No complaints :)

Great HUB..

(4 out of 5) by Mr. M. A. Nelson on Apr 22, 2009 (UK, Cambs)
A great hub and a direct replacement for the great f5U237 thats discontinued - same size plus extra features of pull out travel hub.

Great design pity belkin made the pathetic 307 the main product instead of this wonder!
