QoS Router that works with PS3

(5 out of 5) by Maijay4 on Mar 7, 2008 (Surrey UK)
I recently received a PS3 but had awful issues with wireless connection, (kept disconnecting from PSN, upnp didn't work etc), so on recommendation I upgraded to this Belkin F5D8633 N Bundle and it just works perfectly.

I did initially have some interference issues but the router has a Protect mode that clears that problem up perfectly.

Disappointing reliability

(2 out of 5) by J. WATT on Oct 3, 2009 (Oslo)
I was under the impression that Beklin made quality products but as it turns out their stuff cr@ps out quite quickly.
My wireless has started to get progressively worse, where now my connection is constantly timing out. Of course this doesn't happen on my wired connection, or when I jump to a different wireless connection near by. Anyway. It's a half decent thing while it lasts, but for the money you're paying it's basically a pile of cr@p.

I wouldn't recommend Belkin to anyone.

An appauling router

(1 out of 5) by Stuk on Apr 4, 2009 (England)
There are many problems with this router:

* It takes a long time to connect to the wireless (much longer than my old Netgear), and many times requires at least two attempts.
* Many times Windows XP won't connect to the wireless at all (this worked fine with the Netgear)
* Every time you browse the status page of the router, it will either loose the Internet connection, or crash completely, meaning unplugging it and waiting for it to start again
* And this morning, after about three weeks of use, the wireless has broken completely and not amount of restarting or resetting will bring it back.
* And to top it all off, as said above, the blue lights on the front are ridiculously bright.

In conclusion: not recommended.

really good product!

Very happy with the purchase and seems to work really well. Plus it didn't take a great deal of time to get to me!!

not for online gaming

(2 out of 5) by Mr. Tom W. Smith on Dec 29, 2008 (sussex GB)
well like the other gaming reveiw on here, this is a big dissapointment. If u want a router to speed up your internet gaming then go some where else. this thing is useless. 'connection interuption' is the most annoying thing ever and this gives plenty of it. i would take the other guys advice and go for a G+, or read some reveiws on the router. this is something i will definatley do next time.
