Easy setup, reliable operation, fast connection

(5 out of 5) by Kahanamoku on Dec 6, 2007 (UK)
I have had one of these working with connection to a router for about a month now. It connects at about 270Mbps through walls and ceilings, and currently to a not very well positioned router - it is in the corner of a room, about 2.5 - 3m below the height of the adapter, and normally this can cause problems, but I have had none. Set-up was also very easy.

Don't bother

(1 out of 5) by Urubambajohnny on Nov 11, 2008 (UK)
The adapter software wouldn't load. I am pretty IT literate but couldn't get this to work. Belkin's "technical support" is very poor - after pressing about 8 menu choices I finally ended up with a very poor line to an Indian call centre. All they could say was that the problem must be with my computer (even though the current 802.11g adapter works perfectly). Thanks belkin, but no thanks...

Did not work with Windows 2000. Rubbish Customer Service

(1 out of 5) by Nunntrev on Sep 5, 2008 (UK)
Belkin N Wireless USB AdapterKept getting a "Program Error" from the flaky software. I have worked in telecoms for 12 years and this is the first time I have been beaten by a product. Phone Indian Help Desk and after going through what felt like a dozen menu options I was left on hold by someone for 10 minutes. On calling back again, they really didn't have a clue how to even to begin to help. Avoid if possible, particularly if you feel you are likely to need support from Belkin themselves.

not for vista

Works great on windows XP but will not work with Vista SP1 their updated ed 3 drivers that must be downloaded from their website are no better.
If you have Vista buy something else.
