Logitech wave keyboard

This keyboard is excellent in every way. With my eyes not being so good any more, the lettering on the keys are easier to see, and the individual uses of the keys are positive in their use.

This keyboard was a long time in finding and boy I have had so many. The wave keyboard is far the best on the market a must in anyones home, I'm fussy and I say get on line as you get a good deal in the money situation most of us are in right now. 50 / 50 for use as you feel you are at the flight deck of a plane but you are very much in control, thank you Logitech for makeing such a good keybaord please discontinue it as other can't then feel the benefits of using one, anything good these days seems to get stopped for one reason or another please don't do it to the Wave keyboard :)

Thsi is a terrific product. Apart from the obviously great look, it is also practical and easy to use. And I say this a guy used to using a 'split' keyboard. My friends used to hate using my PC as the split keyboard foxed them everytime. But I dislike 'straight' keyboards. I bought the Logitech Wave as a kind of hopeful compromise (and because my old Trust split keyboard was wearing out!)
The good news is that the compromise worked! I am happy with the curve of the Wave, and because all the keys are together regular keyboard users can use it easily. in fact many have showered it with compliments, for comfort, ease of use, and of course, its lovely looks too!
Compared to Microsofts over-priced keyboard offering, this is a more than viable (and, if you have straight keyboard user friends) superior offering. And like all logitech equipemt that I have ever had, it works with no hitches straight out of the box. In short, I highly recommend this keyboard.

This keyboard is so comfy, works straight away, so long as bios is set to enable keyboard from USB. which 99% are from windows windows 98 onwards, so other reviewer is totally wrong!!
I also think that giving this a bad review because it sounds like a keyboard (tapping), is totally rubbish, ridiculous, insane...
I bought this keyboard last month, and it is soooo comfy to use. I'm a computer programmer and website designer, so I spend a lot of time at my computer.
Good points:
very comfy wrist rest is in exactly the right position,
keys are in the right positions for fingers,
extra buttons very useful (programmable),
software drivers only take 1 minute to install (even on my other older computer (3yrs old), windows xp 4gb ddrII ram, Intel duel core 2.4 ghz), don't know why other reviewer was saying took ages... Going to buy another for old pc maybe, as it's that good.
on current computer (windows 7, 12gb ddr3 ram, Intel quad core 2.4ghz) runs fine even the drivers which was a bit iffy whether or not they would, on new OS... but do...
its also quite good for playing games, (not as good perhaps as Razer as they have better response times for wasd keys), but I haven't noticed at all... So would recommend to gamers too...
price is very reasonable too,
solid build quality.
bad points:
it doesn't really have any...
does feel different to a normal flat keyboard, so may take someone time to get used to, but for me was perfect, keys in exactly right positions...
would be nice:
It would be even better if this keyboard had illuminated keys... just have to make do with having desk lamp on, which I would normally do if I'm working in evening / night anyway. But only really small thing, probably if it had illuminated keys it would push the price up, but think it still would be worth up to £10 more... I know that the G15 has illuminated keys, but very pricey and isn't as comfortable by far (Had this keyboard in University).
So think the wave beats the G15 on everything except illuminated keys, if that's really that much of a necessity then this isn't for you, but for everyone else its perfect. So all in all its a brilliant keyboard, totally recommend to anybody, and am thinking of buying another for second pc, but keyboard on that isn't as worn as the one that the wave replaced on my primary computer.

First bought the cheap £13 logitech version of the wave keyboard, but it wobbled on the desk and was so noisy, tap, tap, tap, immediately decided to buy the more expensive one. If there is one thing that could push me over the edge its listening to the incessant and prolonged tapping on keyboards.
Fortunately the HP keyboard I use at work is silent, you can even thump the keys and there's little or no noise.
Sadly this keyboard with a RRP of £40 makes almost as much noise as the cheapest £13 keyboard, so for that reason alone it gets 2 stars (as everything else is fine).
Its not the Space Shuttle, it's a keyboard, and a keyboard that retails for nearly £40 should be almost inaudible.
