Excellent

(5 out of 5) by M. R. Owens on Sep 13, 2008 (Berkshire, U.K.)
Bought these initally as rear surround speakers but they sounded so good as main speakers that is where I left them. For the size they produce a really wide and detailed soundstage, bass is good for such a small enclosure and treble is sweet and bright. These are the upgraded set with higher spec wiring etc. For this price they are such a bargain.

Brilliant!

(5 out of 5) by Mark on Mar 11, 2008 (England)
These speakers are brilliant. Excellent sound quality and build quality. Not as pretty as some makes, but the dark oak cabinets are somewhat nicer than the apple finish. The sound quality for the money is excellent and they are easily driven. These speakers have received 5 stars in recent hi-fi reviews (actually, they have won many awards over the last few years). Delivered next day, even though I used the free Supersaver delivery, so I'm impressed. These must be the cheapest in the UK at the moment too!

Fantastic

(5 out of 5) by Hinch on Jan 6, 2009 (UK)
Brought these speakers and paired them up with our current Onkyo setup.

These Tannoy's produce a smooth, balanced sound and has a huge soundstage which is great for filling large rooms. They wont give you a explosive amount of bass for movies (shouldn't matter if you have a sub for that) but for music.. it will bring them to life. Compared to most home cinema setups, with small speakers - there is no comparision. They end up sounding a bit tinny as they do not have the range that much larger drivers like these have, without the Sub handling the midrange/low end.

Best value Bookshelf speakers you can get now! worth the investment for Hi-fi or Home-cinema seperate setup :)

Excellent 'Budget HiFi' Speakers

(5 out of 5) by JJ MULLINS on Oct 31, 2008 (London, UK)
Amazon did these for £75 last week so I grabbed them.
These are excellent (and highly awarded) speakers that will improve the sound of any system, just don't mount them in corners or too close to a wall as they need some space to produce the best sound.

Amazing

(5 out of 5) by Mr. B. Holdsworth on Nov 26, 2008
These are amazing value for money at only £75! I've just bought a pair of these to replace the front satellite's of my Logitech Z5500 and what a stunning difference they have made. Using Vista's speaker settings I changed the front pair to full range and in X-fi's control panel I lowered the crossover frequency of the sub down to 60Hz. Much better.
