Don't buy if you have a Mac
(1 out of 5) by Steve Oddy on Apr 22, 2008 (France)Do not buy this product if you have a Mac as the support team only have Windows tools to fix problems. I bought a new map but after installing it the device is "unable to store settings: file access error". The only solution from TomTom is to plug the device into a Windows PC and run a Windows exe. So I'm stuck with a device that either won't work or works with an out-of-date map. AVOID.

Confidence and Accuracy

When starting from home no matter what my programmed destination it instructs me to turn around, even though I am in at the end of a cul-de-sac and am facing the right direction. There is more......
Bottom line; it doesn't fill me with confidence and the only recommendation I could make is "steer well clear".

The traffic part is pointless
(1 out of 5) by A. Orr on Mar 2, 2009 (UK)As a simple navigation product it does a solid job. But the traffic element is pointless. Firstly you land up with an aerial wire draped across the windscreen which has a good chance of NOT locking into the traffic VHF channel..... and should it, you will probably find you will already be in the traffic jam.
