As attractive physically as the quality of sound that they produce, the 9.1s are wonderfully suited to my Denon system and other good quality sound sources. Designed for smaller rooms, they have an Ace up their sleeve, which is that they are front ported as opposed to rear, which means that they can live happily close to walls without provoking unwanted bass returns and woolly, indistinct sound quality. Mine were purchased for use in a spare bedroom/office location where there was no option for relocation and totally outshine my Mordaunt Short MS20i/MS25i's in every respect. Only problem is that they will certainly expose shortcomings in other components - the existing sub gets upgraded to the Wharfedale SW-150 tomorrow!
