Besides being slightly more 'plasticy' and less metallic than would appear in the image, this product is pretty good - it's relatively strong and provides good protection against bumps and bashes.
The thin area over the screen works well too, and the screen is even visible through it when the brightness is set very low. Note however that the product includes 2 case backs - this is not a 'bonus'; one fits the 80GB and the other fits the 160GB, so try them both before concluding that it doesn't fit very well (which I did, but then tried the other back, and it works fine. The difference between the two case backs is not explained fully by the packaging etc.)
Overall, pretty good, and worth buying to protect your iPod, especially for the screen, since it's strong and allows the screen to be visible too.

exactly fits, both the iPod Classic 80GB & 160GB, using two appropriately sized, gorgeously chromed yet reflectively subtle, front cases, that attach to a sleek rubberised matte black, back! the iPod's screen seamlessly, as if by magic, shines through the cover when operated(cheesy but true)...no buts...just to reiterate what another reviewer advises: you do need to keep the 'brightness' set to 50+ & i would also advise that this isn't a temporary case i.e. snap on, snap off! once on, its shut safe & securely...to open you need a non-abrasive lever, it advises a coin, but be careful not to scratch your lovely new iPod!
