Waste of Money!!!!! ZERO STARS
Avoid!!! 2nd of these TV's has just packed in 2 months out of warrenty. Same fault no picture, sound and ambilight still working. Philips not interested even though they know it is a fault with a power relay chip across a number of models. DO NOT BUY A PHILIPS TV!!!
Much better value than buying it in the shops
easy to set up, great quality picture and sound and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying it on the highstreet.

superb
bought this tv just before xmas 2007.fitted it onto the wall, wires hidden in the plaster.hooked up to sky hd and ps3,picture on hd is awesome,it really is.some of the regular channels can look fuzzy if your room is small and you are too close to the screen though, about 2.5 to 3m and you will be fine.speakers also good though mine is running through 5 .1 surround system.no need to go to the movies any more.side socket for memory card so you can show your digital phots on it ,and download the latest software from the phillips site too.i paid £1300 on line so now its a bargain.dont think you will be disappointed.

It's huge!!!!
Having lived with this TV for a couple of weeks now, I have to say I feel it is of excellent quality with a truly amazing picture through HD sources.
I am no TV expert, but compared far and wide before purchasing, and have not regretted my choice for a moment. The ambilight certainly adds a good deal of depth to the picture, and prolonged viewing spells do not fatigue the eye, as seems the case with other sets. Edges are crisp and sharp, with coherent and realistic colour reproductions. The onboard freeview tuner provides pleasing images, particularly when you consider the level of upscaling required.
The only slight reservation I could offer is that black colours occasionally look grey, and darker scenes can suffer from a lack of detail at times. However these problems seem generic to LCD technology, rather than a particular trait of this set. You may also wish to note that no VGA/DVI input for computer input is provided and you will therefore require further adaptors!
