(5 out of 5) by PIONEER on Mar 25, 2008 (UK)ive had this tv now for 6 months, and it still stunns me! utter class.. if your after the best big tv this is it.. unless u want its big bro the lx version.. hd pictures are top class, motion in 1080p/24hz is best you will see no jerkyness.. in my oppinion motion is vital.. don't buy on 1080p alone, marginal improvement. kuro is the best. buy without doubt.

Don't waste your time considering anything else but a Pioneer

So do whatever it takes to get the finances together and get a Pioneer 50" plasma. Don't settle for anything less and then regret it afterwards. After a year the 508XD still blows me away. And that's just with the magnificent freeview picture. It really does kick the competition into touch. Actually, that's a lie. There *is* no competition.
