The printing onto CDs is a lot easier than my old R200 (it was hit and miss if it would actually go into the printer to print, especially in it's later years). The printing onto CD is slightly slower on the R285, as it goes in and then out and then in again, for some reason. But the results are brilliant.
It prints A4 pages pretty fast and the print quality is excellent, as usual from Epson.
Overall a very good printer.

ferociously over-complicated

Estimated time from connecting it up to getting a decent print at the right size from a jpg image in your files, at least 2 hours!
