(4 out of 5) by P. Wareing on Nov 12, 2008This printer is very nice. A very good scanning and copying function, with a very thorough set-up process. The printer is very quick and efficient with good ease of use with just the press of a button. The printer also has a fax function but I have never bothered to set that up. The only problem I do have with it though is that it uses quite a bit of ink, and the ink isn't cheap. For the price it is at now is very reasonable; it is of very good build, and looks expensive. The unit itself though is quite large and takes up a bit of room. It does also need a USB cable but they are a few pounds also on amazon!

Canon Pixma MX310,
(4 out of 5) by Architect101 on Apr 18, 2008 (London)I use this printer working from home for general printing, scanning and copying. I have a separate printer for photo printing. For small business use its pretty good. It replaced a Hp office jet J5780 which went in the bin after the scanner gave up and the software fixes rubbished my laptop. The Cannon is better alround. Quick printing,good software interface. Only 4 starsbecause strangely the copy button is on the left of the panel and the colour/black and white select button is on the far right. Can not comment about the ink use/cost. I suspect it will be about the same as its competitors, grossly expensive, but thats why the printer is realitively cheap.

Superb Canon MX310 all-in-one printer

It costs little more than the replacement ink for some printers and does everything that's written on the tin! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile, cost effective multi-printer. Also, the process of buying it from Amazon, and the extremely prompt delivery service made this purchase a very good experience indeed. DHS

Very good all in one printer, copier, scanner, fax

The only additinal things in retrospect are I wish it was a bit smaller (unrealistic I suppose if you want an A4 scanner and wish it was wireless. But that is more my fault as the product was clearly explained.
The only reason I would give it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5 is that it uses the ink very quickly/the print cartridges don't hold a great deal of ink.
All in all though it does what it said it would!
