IT WAS BETWEEN THE SAMSUNG LE19 R86 AND THE PHILLIPS19PFL4322 FOR THE KITCHEN T.V.I PREFERRED THE LOOKS OF THE PHILLIPS BUT IT DID'NT HAVE FREEVIEW,THE SAMSUNG HAD FREEVIEW BUT THE REVIEWS SUGGESTED THAT THE SOUND QUALITY WAS NOT THE BEST,SO AS THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME I PURCHASED THE PHILLIPS AND GOT AROUND THE FREEVIEW BY INSTALLING SKY MULTIROOM.I AM DELIGHTED WITH THE RESULT ,THE SOUND IS GREAT AND THE PICTURE IS AS WELL,MY ONLY MOAN IS THAT THE DAY AFTER I PURCHASED THE PHILLIPS AMAZON REDUCED THE PRICE BY A TENNER!!!

Bought this item as an upgrade and first tentative steps into the HD World.
Amazon delivered very quickly.

Took around five minutes to rip open packaging and Plug in,was very impressed by the Flat Black screen,little blue Power light came on and the set automatically scanned available channels.

However there the story turns sour,the image from this model is not all that,
Colours temp is set to very red,too compensate you'll find the picture eventually looks washed out.

There is Clearly a problem with the Power Board,I have now returned my Second set to Amazon Refund (Pending) after it developing another Power Failure.

I can not reccomend this model please avoid at all cost Phillips have a Problem with this Model and need to resolve it...

I am usually a Phillips customer and have used their products in the past which have proven reliable,and usually outlasted my interest i.e uogrades etc.

AMAZON Pull the Plug On this Model Range.....

I bought this after returning an absolutely rubbish LG set and it is very, very good. Good picture, good sound and good connectivity, it's also wall mountable.

Hasn't got freeview but im not bothered, as i use a freeview box and sky through a magic eye.
