Easy as pie with Liquid FM

Plugged in the cables, put the transmitter in the socket. Hit the Auto-tune button on the transmitter and tuned the radio to the suggested frequency, and turned on the MP3 (a pacemaker). Bingo, worked like a charm, no static no problems it just worked first time! I seriously cannot find a flaw in this product.

Not very good at all - not worth the money

(1 out of 5) by R. Ford on Jan 23, 2008 (Manchester, UK)
It doesn't have a strong signal at all - surprising as it is running off the car power. My iPod has to be turned up to almost maximum volume, likewise with my car stereo before I can hear anything. Aside from that, I'm always having to change the frequency because ANY noise on a given frequency will interfere.

The auto-seek should be a great feature but doesn't work very well at all.

I don't recomend this product to anybody.

not bad for price

It does work, you do have to turn the volume on mp3 right up and stereo too, it is a little fiddly to find the right station but when you do it is good.

Very poor

(1 out of 5) by Foxgoose on Jan 22, 2008 (Somerset, UK)
Tried this today in my Lexus RX400 with Mark Levinson audio system - barely worked at all.

The manual is very uninformative and the scanning sytem seemed to be erratic, suggesting a different frequency each time and then refusing to store it most of the time.

With a Samsung YP player at 75% volume, when I finally got a signal it was barely audible.

The wired Sony cassette adaptor I've been using isn't exactly hifi but is miles better than this.

Rubbish I'm afraid - it's going back.

cheap, but weak..

(2 out of 5) by Bernard Mcnelis on Nov 4, 2009 (uk)
yes i went for the cheap option in my 1st FM transmitter.. autoseek = no seek
once you find a free FM band, the signal is at least 1/2 any other radio sig.. when i get into my car without it already plugged in i'm deafened with white noise/garbage as volume has to be so high.. build quality dubious. nice display tho!

i'm going to go for tatpe option i think (as my car has cassette deck.. + analog is beter is many ways)
