Excellent Product
(5 out of 5) by Keith Dennis on Oct 29, 2008 (Norfolk, England)Very pleased with this TV stand which we purchased for our new Sony 32" LCD TV (also ordered from Amazon). Black shiny finish of legs compliments 'piano black' finish of TV.
Cable management in rear leg certainly helps to keep cables and wires tidy.
But note that depth of lower shelves from front edge to rear leg at 31cm might be a little tight for the deeper DVD players etc, especially after allowing clearance for scart plugs.
Nevertheles a high quality product and great value for money.

Good value for the price

All the same, everything required was present, and the instructions were reasonably straightforward. I guess it took me about half an hour to assemble the stand from start to finish. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase - it didn't cost too much, and it looks perfectly acceptable in the lounge too.

Check the actual shelf depth to avoid problems

The dimensions are given in the product details but dont forget that your VCR or PVR or Sky Box may have the Scart socket right in the middle which positions against the rear leg support.
This may mean the item is on the very edge of the shelf or placed to one side rather than centred.

Avatar tv stand... With built in cable management... Poor design!

I liked the idea of it having a built in cable management system in the rear leg, but was very disapointed with the design of this... There is a small hole in the top shelf which leads into the rear leg for the wires!!! This was a very poor design, not big enough for a plug to fit through, and then to make it worse... I would have expected there to be a hole on each shelf leading into the rear leg cable tidy, for the wires from other media devices to lead through. But NO, you have to pass the wires round the side... No hole... Very poor, spoiling the look... I sent this back and ordered the LEVV black and chrome stand instead, at around the same price, then built a small wooden box onto the back and sprayed it black... Looks great...
