GREAT CASE FOR THE MONEY
I HAVE A NUMBER OF CAMERA BAGS BUT ALL TOO BIG FOR A DAY OUT,THE CIRRUS TLZ 25 IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR MY 400D WITH 70-300 IS LENS FITTED,BUT I HAVE TO TAKE THE BATTERY GRIP OFF WHICH IS A SHAME.THE OUTSIDE POCKET IS BIG ENOUGH FOR SPARE BATTERY AND BLOW BRUSH WITH INSIDE POCKET FOR MEMORY CARDS.ITS ALSO GOOD FOR JUST STORING THE CAMERA WHEN NOT IN USE.WHY PAY £40 PLUS FOR A TOP LOADER BAG WHEN THIS BAG IS SO CHEAP WITH THE QUALITY OF THE LOWEPRO NAME.BRILL!!

Beware dimensions
Good product, but beware that the dimensions stated on the product description are external dimensions. You will need to expand the specifications section to find out the critically important internal dimensions in order to determine whether your camera/lens will fit. Amazon should make this clearer.

Great case - excellent protection - compact yet spacious
Most holster cases are designed for pro equipment - larger than required for a consumer DSLR or for a body with only standard lens attached. This one provides ample space for my Nikon D60 with Nikon 18-200mm zoom attached with 1-2cm spare widthwise and 3cm spare depthwise (enough to load the strap in on top of the body and still close the lid). The spare widthwise means that it will accommodate AT LEAST a D60 but also any other body up to 2cm wider - that's about every DSLR on the market. The padding is VERY good and there ar two velcro cradle straps to support the body in the top of the case. This would allow you to store the body with standard lens at the top and an additional small lens at the bottom of the case - but you would have to put some padding (not provided) between the two.

Perfect Fit for Canon 30D
I took a chance on this as all reviews were based on smaller cameras (400D, 450D etc).
I wanted a case that was as small as possible to fit my 30D with a 28-80mm lens and a 50mm in the bottom; it works beautifully and the padding is great! I have a larger bag for lugging all my kit around but that's not what these bags are about.

Great For travelling light
This bag fulfils its function perfectly. That is the main point. However, it depends on if you need the function.
I use this bag as a light case when I do not feel the need to carry my entire kit. There is enough room for my D90 and an 18-105mm kit lens (I use this as it is the longest lens I have tried to fit in, but my wide-angle fits fine). That is basically all you can fit in bar a spare battery and a filter or two. There are other down sides, there is not a great deal of padding, and it is only splash-resistant at the very most.
The bag does have some plus points. It is very easy access to your camera. Other than that its use is just in providing a slight layer of protection if your camera is going to be sitting in a rucksack, and you only want to take one lens. Or if you are going out for a walk and want somewhere to have your camera whilst walking.
It is not an alternative to a camera bag (unless you only have one short to medium length lens) but it does complement it when taking out a larger bag just seems cumbersome. It is a good buy overall.
