Excellent!

(5 out of 5) by Reagan Ludwigsen on Nov 12, 2007 (London, UK)
I looked around for some time before I decided to go for the Panasonic FX33. I needed an upgrade from my old Pentax and had a list of specifications. The FX33 is small, light and very easy to use, once you figured out where all the settings are and the different styles of photos you can take. It is amazing to see the automatic face detector work. Even when moving around it auto focuses on faces. This was the added incentive for me instead of going for the FX30 I am incredibly pleased with my choice and very much looking forward in taking lots of great pictures.

Excellent little camera

(5 out of 5) by Leonora351 on Mar 11, 2008 (London)
This camera is light and nifty, but does not compromise on the range and quality of features. I bought this to carry when travelling and for special occasions and it fits neatly into handbag or pocket. It is easy to use and the large screen is helpful for composing shots and the face-finder mechanism is a great bonus. There are several modes for shooting different objects such as food, flowers, night scenes etc. The instruction manual is clear and concise and worth reading through properly even if you are not a beginner.

In short, a good all-rounder at a competitive price.

Small, light and very user-friendly

(5 out of 5) by Gonzo on Feb 1, 2009 (UK)
I wanted a camera that I could slip in my handbag or take on an aircraft quite easily; we already have an SLR type that takes beautiful images but is very large and awkward to carry. The Lumix is an easy to use, attractive and light weight camera. It has an Intelligent Auto mode to make things easy for those who just want to take good photographs, and more sophisticated modes for those who want to get more involved. And most important of all, the photographs I have taken so far have all been great. As ever, the instruction book is not particularly easy to understand, but I am persevering, and if all else fails, you can always just put it on Intelligent Auto.
