This large pair of floor standers are superb.I have had lots of quality speakers,but these are the best value.i have my amp flat and they still have plenty of bass and treble.capable of very high volume with no distortion(from 110wpc amp).floor shaking bass on dance music yet beautiful on jazz.I wouldnt hesitate.cloth grills a little flimsy,but still 10/10 as sound quality and rest of the build quality unbeatable.These blow shelf speakers away.Not suiatble for close proximity to neighbours.(Photo wrong on hughes direct-port is at the back,drivers all black)
