i ordered this stand to compliment my new 40" samsung tv.AND BOY DOES IT DO THAT. this stand oozes sex appeal, it has enough shelf space to hold my ps3 and cable box side by side. it was delivered extremely quick but be careful..... its very heavy.

I spent what seemed like ages looking on-line for a stand suitable for my LE40M87BD. The Icon Aero 4250 turned out to be the best combination of value for money, style and colour for me. Its sturdy, well constructed and has the all important cable tidy at the back. The shelves give lots of space for all those things you normally have stashed underneath the TV. The instructions said the stand was suitable for LCD's up to a 42". Not sure why it is advertised as suitable up to 50" unless you want an over hang. I have to complement other reviewers of stands who saved me ages by advising to build from the bottom up. Initially I didn't listen and I spent an hours trying to build it as per the instructions and failed every time because I don't have three sets of hands. Ten minutes was all it took working from the bottom up. Just don't tighten anything up too much until near the end and make sure you have the poles the right way up as it makes all the difference. A nice touch is that all the parts were labelled with letters so easy to know which part the instructions are referring to. All in all very happy with stand and glad I went for it. After spending the little extra I wasn't disappointed.

PS I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a stand to have a good look a some local shops before making any decision and ordering on-line. I was initially going to buy a clear glass stand with silver legs but soon.

I was initially drawn to this product after seeing an offer on the similar Icon Oval. However, the sleeker lines of the Aero got me to spend the extra few quid.

Took me about 1 hour to unpack everything and get it all put together (and then another hour to get all my equipment up, running and cable tidied!). I had previously read that starting from the bottom up was the way to go for a solo build - and without the extra pair of hands, I can see why the instruction manual method would be hard. However, there are a couple of items that do need to be carried out in order, so make sure you work it all through before really getting stuck in!

Once all together and in place it looks great. Sleek and glossy and suits my Samsung LCD brilliantly. I would say the picture shown on Amazon is of a 42" screen - which sits nicely with the width of the table. I've got a 32" that sits within the outer black band you can see on the glass.

The shelves accommodate my SkyHD box, Sling Box and Xbox 360 with tonnes of space left for DVD's, controllers etc. The shelve height is about 1cm heigher a vertical DVD case.

Glad I got it, and the only downer is that Amazon dropped the price by £13 just after I got it - but then again that's all good for everyone else now isn't it!!

needed a stand for a 50 inch tv wanted glass and black. full details were given on site and item was delivered within days.

This stand looks great and certainly suites my samsung tv. Assembly instructions not that great but can soon be worked out. Like the cable tidy at the back and he shelvs offer plenty of space to put all your other systems.
