Great little speakers
These are great - I bought them for my kids and they've been a huge success. The sound is amazingly good for such small speakers. Having the power lead is brilliant too. I'd recommend them.

Great Little Speakers
I bought these speakers for a replacement birthday present for my son's Ipod Shuffle. I didn't want to spend too much money, and after reading the reviews decided to buy them.
All of our family have been impressed by these speakers. They are light, fold away into a compact box shape and for little speakers the quality of sound and level is impressive. You also get a power adapter with it.
If you don't want to spend too much money on speakers and are also planning to travel these are ideal.

Bargain buy
These speakers are ideal for casual listening such as in the kitchen or on holiday; the sound quality is surprisingly good. They take up very little space.
The only downside is with some of the later Ipods where the headphones connect to the base of the unit which means the Ipod doesn't sit so well in the base; you either have to stand it upside down or have the Ipod lying next to it.
Still, at £7.99 it's difficult to complain too much!

Excellent little speakers
These are fantastic speakers. I bought them to use with our MP3's on holiday & was delighted with them. Sound was great as you can turn the volume up on them & the MP3 so you can play it nice & loud if you wish. They came with a plug which also charged my USB MP3 - even better value for money.
Sound was clear & quality was excellent.
Light weight & compact. I would definately recommend these to anyone.

You Get What You Pay For
I guess £8.99 isn't a bad deal for a pair of speakers, but it's probably worth ignoring all the Apple model names in the listing for this item. It makes it sound like this is an Ipod dock and I admit to being mislead by the picture which seemed to give that impression. Instead, this a pair of cheap and cheerful travel speakers with room for your mp3 player to sit (perhaps not that firmly) in between.
No docking mechanism means that a) there's no charging from this unit - and b)you plug the speakers into the headphone input. This isn't a major disadvantage (you can charge using a USB cable or the mp3/ iphone's charging cable while playing) but is worth noting as the shape of the unit could give the impression of a dock.
At this price, sound quality is obviously not the best (and raising the volume on the unit itself does few favours) but this is definitely better than the internal speakers (at least on iPhones which is what I'm using).
Build quality is fine for this price. It folds up in a pleasing fashion and is perfect for travel.
I'd prefer a slightly longer ac/dc cable as the one supplied is a little short, but I'm generally satisfied with this purchase.
