Brilliant Value Home Cinema
(5 out of 5) by J. D. Walpole on Dec 11, 2007Was first attracted by the price, then realised how many features it has, 3.5mm jack input for virtually any audio device, USB memory stick input for mp3's or DivX movies, Multiregion capable (code on the amazon page works !) HDMI up Scaling output too.
The speakers are of good quality, especially the centre speaker and Subwoofer, the tallboy speakers are also very good, by default they are for the rear speakers but I have used them for the font speakers instead.
Set up was very easy, speaker cables have colour coded plugs for ease of use and the manual (although hardly required) is very easy to follow, although the bass is not exactly thumping in your chest, the sound quality is very crisp and all in all I'm highly delighted with my purchace and will recommend to others.

Excellent for the money

Nice Home Theatre System

There are lot of features we can use, I have connected my Sky box to this system using a stereo cable and its working fine. Excellent HTS for 150 pounds.

Multiple function and brillilant sound!

This system is truly several systems all-in-one!
I wanted a home theatre system to watch DVD movies, and my wife wanted a CD player with a radio that also hooks up to her Apple ipod. To my delight, there is a plug right in the front with a separate button on the remote, which is terrific!
The good thing about this system is that it does it all: Plays DVD movies and produces more than enough volume, plays CD's, has a plug-in for my wife's Apple ipod, plays FM/AM radio, has a USB slot for viewing pictures, and is also multi-regional.
There is a link on this Amazon page with instructions to make it 'multi-regional'. So for the previous poster who couldn't get it to play multi-regional........it does, but has to be programmed, but it's as simple as pressing a few buttons on the remote.
When you first insert a DVD, it will say 'wrong region', but open the slot, press 'stop' and then a series of numbers, and it changes the region to 'O'.
I would strongly recommend this system to anyone who wants a home theatre system and also wants a stereo system to play CD's and Mp3's...amazing!
Now my only problem is that I don't have an HD-TV, but that's next on my list of things to buy.
This system is great value for money compared to what some systems are costing.

Superb
(5 out of 5) by Mr. S. J. White on Dec 21, 2007Does exactly what is says on the box! Easy to set up, the sub-woofer lead was not long enough for where I wanted it (about 2.5-3.0m), the other leads had plenty though. It really has superb sound and can play mp3's through it. love it!
