Con's: not perticularly fond of the AVCHD format as my DVD does not play this and converters of this format are few and far between. Other then that its a solid well build product.
IDEAL CAMCORDER
(5 out of 5) by Mrs. C. Colbourne on Jul 15, 2009I found the Cannon HR10 HD DVD Camcorder easy to use, so this would be good if buying a Camcorder for the first time. The 2.7" screen is so clear and the zoom is great for getting close to your subject. The only problem I came across was when I went to take a still photo there was no Mini SD Card in with the Camcorder, so I couldn't test this. I went to a camera shop on holiday and they sold me an ordinary SD Card which wouldn't fit in the Camcorder. So I will have to make sure I buy a mini SD Card separately from Amazon. Other than that I am really pleased with my purchase.
