Not fit for purpose

I bought this for my Garmin streetpilot i3. Upon connection it made the unit bleep continuously and the display showed lots of different graphics. It went bananas! The reason is on the original it has a choke in the lead, which I assume keeps the current constant, this does not. I would return it but the delivery costs are more than the lead. I have now bought a garmin lead for £18 from a leading motorist retailer and the unit works fine. Forget this.

not suitable for purpose

I purchased this car charger for my Garmin C510. When plugged into the cigar lighter it does charge the device but the device cannot be used at the same time! I agree with the earlier reviewer that it is not fit for purpose unless you simply want to charge the device but not whilst using it! I purchased a branded charger from a high street main dealer for £19.99 and it now works fine.

Very poor

Despite the graphic showing a coiled lead, the actual charger that arrived had a straight lead which is actually too short to reach from the socket in the car to the site of the sat nav. Hence it is totally useless for me, as there is nowhere nearer that I can site the satnav unit. I feel the graphic mislead me.
