The picture is absolutely first rate, really sharp and vibrant, plus it can display 1080p which is a bonus. The sound is really good as well, although I have played around with the 7 band equalizer to get the sound I wanted. It was a bit bassy when it came out of the box, but if you just reduce the lower end equalizers, you'll get a sound which is perfect for any application (Sky, Freeview, PS3, Wii, DVD, Blu-Ray etc)
Set up is ridiculously easy, you'll be watching the in-built hd freeview channels within minutes. Really good stand also, the tv is very attractive to look at and not bulky at all - in fact its very sleek. I went up from a 26'' to a 37'' and the Philips doesn't look oversized or out of place. Seriously, this is a bargain tv which will serve anyone handsomely for the next 10 years. BUY BUY BUY!
