I have seen the review by another Amazon user. The 5ml content of genuine
HP cartridges is abismal but i have found excellent compatible cartridges @
www.advantage-online.co.uk
These cartridges contain approx 3 times the amount of ink and are cheaper
than the HP version. Most important they work very well and there is no
difference in quality from the original.
I ordered one black 21 and one colour 22 and received them next day with free postage
TURNED A BAD PRINTER INTO A GOOD ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I brought my Hp Desk Jet F380 printer/scanner for only £28.00 from Argos but It was costing me £35.00 per week on Hp originals 2 blacks and 1 color as Hp only put 5mls of ink in their cartridges. The printer was just about to end up in the dustbin when I read a review tell me to go for high yield premium compatibles 24mls cartridges. Well I though what the hell and ordered a pair.
They are GREAT the black is a much deep shade of black than what I was getting out of the HP original, But the best point is they last sooooooooooo much longer the black has lasted me two weeks and the color is only showing as half empty.
Go and buy this printer as its very very good but don't get conned by the HP originals.
Expensive but reliable
Based on the review by Mr Ince I purchased a cartridge from Advantage. Having always been wary of 'compatible' cartridges following lots of disappointment, I awaited this item with lots of confidence as an Amazon customer had recommended it. I was very disappointed. The ink didn't print out correctly at all. I tried pressing it against kitchen towel as recommended(?! - never had to do this with an original cartridge) but still no joy. After 10 attempts at printing, it went in the bin and I installed a new HP original. I will admit they are exceptionally overpriced - but at least they do what they say.
