I agree with the other review about the display, call volume and menu system. Also it's difficult to sync the phone books on all phones at the same time. I wish I had purchased Panasonic as well. The only reason I didn't was that I needed the call barring feature to stop unathorised kids use of the phone...

Have had this set of phones for a couple of months.
Packed with features and the spec. seemed very good.
However there are a few very annoying characteristics about the phone. The volume of the received call is too low, cannot be heard if there is any sort of external noise. The display is difficult to read - contrast and backlight insufficient. Very fiddly - apart from making and receiving a call, almost anything else you want to do has to be navigated through a convoluted and non intuitive menu. Answerphone does not give an audible time and date of messages.
My old Panasonic was better.

The phones are good in clarity but had to return the item because the fonts in grey against blue background was dificult to read unless brought near enough to see. On the older version it was green fonts against ornage screen, which made to see the caller id before one can pickup the handset.

It's a great telephone: with answer machine, backlite display and key pad, ... and I can use it in Spain, is compatible with Spanish telephone line.

A real nice buy. They're nice and chunky but not overly heavy and actually quite stylish. Love them! Best phones we've had in a long time. :)
