I bought these speakers when moving my living room around, with a little one on the way space has become more important that perfect viewing angles etc. The speakers and sub are excellent. Having moved from rather large floorstanders i was worried that sound quality would be badly affected. With these i did'nt need to worry. Stereo music is not as good as with the large speakers but i expected this and can live with going upstairs to listen to my 'proper' set up if the need arises. My living room is not that large but i ordered another set of these for my brother, who has a huge living room, and they work just as well. The instructions are not great for someone who has no idea on set ups but thats not anywhere near enough to loose a star.

Great set of speakers when paired with my yamaha AX763 and PS3, the sound is great but amazon said it comes with 4 a102 speakers and i only got 2 of those and 2 a10's. Their listing has since changed and is now correct

This is a good sounding, well constructed speaker set. Im no audio expert but the sound is very good when all set up correctly.

In todays market where a Hi-Fi shop is a rarity except if it's in a big shed or on line, your chances of actually hearing speakers are pretty remote. Even if you could, the shop environment is totally different to your environment.
So, I looked at the What Hi-Fi review and then the Amazon reviews. A large number of people gave them four to five stars so I was happy to go along with the concensus of opinion.
Thank you guys, you were not wrong. They sound noticeably better than my previous speakers, look reasonably unobtrusive and are very good quality. I like the plain, subtle design rather than looking like space invaders.
The sub wakes up in auto mode very quickly with no noticeable bass lag as on my old sub. The down firing woofer in my case is onto a wooden floor. With a carpet it might sound a bit deeper but get someone to tweak the controls while you sit at the listening position to get the best out of it. Wall brackets were simple to fit and they were easily adapted to fit my Alphason stands. The screws that fit the speakers to the brackets are very small so a magnetic screwdriver will save lots of expletives.
I am very pleased with them and for the money I think they are unbeatable. Then again, my music is not your music, my kit is not your kit, my ears are not your ears, etc, etc.

I bought this speaker package after reading many reviews and for the price you can not get anything better.

very easy to setup, the gloss black look matched my telly and looks great.

I also purchased a yamaha amp dsp ax763, which suited these speakers perfectly.

I will most defrinately buy another matching jamo subwoofer and two more speakers to make my set up 7.1.
