If you are looking for a competent yet discreet 5.1 solution to match your current AV or DVD receiver this is it! The identical driver configuration in all five main speakers ensure optimum timbral coherence when sounds pan across the room. And the sub will integrate with your electronics whether it"s connected to your amp via a line or speaker-level output.

The tiny A102 satellites are weighty, magnetically shielded boxes that pack a mighty punch, due in no small part to the 90mm (3in) co-axial driver that's fitted. Finished in high-gloss black and silver these are intended for placement on the wall (a wall bracket is supplied as standard).

And then there's the SUB 200. Equipped with a 200mm (8in) downfiring woofer this is a bass-reflex design with both line-level and high-level inputs, automatic on/off switching and controls for level, cut-off and phase.

These tiny Jamos sound great, and really do punch above their weight. You will not find a better home cinema speaker package at this price.

Jamos do seem to be a good little speaker and for a fantastic price!
I have read only good comments about both system, they look and feel superb.

Tip: set speakers to small on your av receiver auto set-up, this routes all the bass to the sub...setting to large sends some base to your fronts, good if you use floor standers.

They come with wall brackets that fit into the bottom of the speaker but apart from that nothing else. They do come with a rawl plug and screw for each bracket. I think they needed a 6mm drill-bit for the hole.

Recommended av/receiver with these speakers would be Sony STR-DG820 or any Onkyo.

You can upgrade to 7.1 with this Jamo system by buying two more A102 speakers.

The Jamos for the price its a no brainer the Jamos sound great

Just to reinforce the previous review, these Jamo speakers are amazing value and sound fanastic too. Mine are paired with a Yamaha DSP AX763 receiver and a Panasonic 35 Bluray player, the combo works exceptionally well.

Well made and good looking (for speakers), they certainly do an excellent job and given their price, amazing value. The sofa shakes sufficiently and adds a whole new dimension to watching movies.

These now complete our recent upgrade on AV equipment and compliment the new Samsung 46" LCD and Pioneer AV Receiver extremely well.

Can't fault them really, the only downside being the instructions are basic so don't rely on them for a good setup and there's no speaker wire included although that wasn't an issue for us. They do come with a sub lead though.

Having purchased this on the 4th of January, Amazon estimated it would be dispatched towards the end of the month. Surprisingly, it arrived 2 days ago so a big thank you to Amazon.

I also purchased the sony str dg820 from another site, but that has yet to arrived even though they stated 4-5 days.

Anyways i got curious to see how they sounded so i wired one of the front speakers into my 6 yr old Aiwa mini hifi. From such a small speaker, the output was amazing. The clarity of the treble and mid range were superb. I can't wait for my amp to arrive so i can power them to their full potential. Instructions were indeed basic but its not hard to wire up speakers. Would of been nice to have some speaker wire as standard but its not an issue as most people upgrade the wiring.

Edit, cancelled the order on the STR-DG820 because it was taking so long and spent more to get the STR-DA2400ES. Hopefully arriving tomorrow and then i'll be happy...

I purchased this item after reading very good feedback on Amazon and other sites,it is advertised on Amazon as containing 4 Jamo a102 surround speakers 1 jamo a10 centre and 1 Jamo subwoofer 200, on opening the box upon arrival from amazon i was delighted with the look of the speakers, what appeared to be four identical surrounds one centre and one subwoofer, i set about installing the system which was quite simple listened a while then decided to clear away the packing i read the info on the carton and was surprised to see that the system actually contains only two Jamo a102 surround speakers and two Jamo a10 surround speakers the a102s being coaxial speakers containg a woofer and tweeter configuration and the a10s only containg a woofer speaker the frequency extension of these speakers also differs the a102s to 20,000 the a10s only to 15,000 i am surprised that none of the previous reveiwers have mentioned this. I have informed Amazon that the item is not as advertised as i should have received four matching speakers ie a102s as advertised Amazon are enquiring from their fulfillment centre to see if what i am saying is correct they have promised to get back to me with further information soon, if you check this item at Jamos website it clearly states that it contains two a102s and two a10 surrounds, please be aware of this if purchasing this item.
