top notch piece of kit
(5 out of 5) by Barfly on Sep 28, 2008 (Northern Ireland)If you,re not ready to make the jump yet to blu ray then this is a fine compromise-simple to operate-set up with newly acquired panasonic l.c.d and 'Criminal Minds' into the wee small hours-BLISS.When blu ray comes down in price then fair enough but in the meantime...

Fantastic value
(5 out of 5) by Baggers on Apr 20, 2009 (Jersey, Channel Islands)If you have the budget to buy a good blu-ray player and then to replace your library/buy the blu-ray DVD's then you will get the best picture and sound available. If not, for about £60, if you have a decent TV and a HDMI cable this is the most viable and inexpensive alternative. The picture is a marked improvement on standard DVD's and the sound quality even more so (that is from the built in stereo speakers on my Panasonic 32 LCD HD Ready). Fantastic value for money and I can even use my tv remote to play it. Panansonic products are consistently Which best buys and for very good reason.
