Awesome service!

Aug 4, 2007 - By Mr. Glyn F. Rayson (Stafford - England)

Granted I paid for express delivery, but I ordered it at something like 4.45pm, and it arrived 8.30am next morning :D

If you ask me, graphics card as damn well worth the £50 I paid for it n'all! Plays all the games I've got (new ones I mean) like a dream :)

A great card for the money!

Dec 22, 2007 - By A Mod (england)

Superb graphix card for the money, runs most of the new game like Enemy Territory Quake wars, Bioshock, Oblivion ect. and was easy to install.

I would reccomend saving up a bit more dish for the new 8800gt and so on.

But anyway an awesome great valued graphics card.

Inno3D Geforce 8500GT

Feb 6, 2008 - By quark (uk)

I could not have imagined the vast improvement that a good graphics card makes.
I have absolutely no interest in games, and my primary use for the pc is a media centre. The pc is used with a 42" Phillips HDTV. I wrongly assumed that the onboard graphics of my new motherboard would be more than adequate for my modest applications. The motherboard came with hdmi ports fitted as standard.
The images from my digital SLR camera were poor and smeared; text when using word at 12-point font was unreadable.
Enter the Inno3D Geforce 8500GT, using the DVI output and a DVI to HDMI cable the results were breathtaking. There is a dedicated control panel for HDTV settings. It was so easy to set up, no trawling through sub menus etc. The card has brought new life to the thousands of photos stored on my pc truly outstanding. DVD's played via the pc are also enhanced. The use of Microsoft word at 10-point font is perfect.
I would highly recommend this card to anyone going down the media centre route. I am using Widows XP, a core 2 AMD 3GHZ processor, a biostar motherboard, a Delta Audiophile 24/192 soundcard. 2 x500Gb sata 16Mb cache Hdd.

Great Price, Great product...

Mar 5, 2008 - By Mandip Grewal (UK)

Decent graphics cards normally come with a huge price tag, this card is perfect for the casual gamer. I'm using it my athlon 3200+ with 1gb ram and it works fine with call of duty 4. The graphics are comparable to PS3 & Xbox 360. You can even crank up a few of the detail settings and it's still good! The main reason I bought it though was not for games, it was because I needed a graphics card with HDMI output. It has Digital DVI as apposed to analog DVI, which means you can use a DVI-HDMI cable and connect it to your tv. The pictures GREAT on my 32" Samsung LCD. The Nvidia control panel is great for adjusting the display to fit your TV perfectly. Installation was a breeze! Just plug it in to the PCI Express x16 slot on the motherboard, switch on, let windows find the drivers itself by searching the cd you get in the box, and Bob's your mother's brother! I would recommend this card to ANYONE looking for a bargain card that does more than all other cards at the same price. Also although the picture of the box in the amazon detail page shows 256MB ram, you ARE sent the 512MB version. CHUNKY MEMORY. Stop using your integrated graphics card which shares your ram that your processor uses, GET THIS CARD!

Inno3D 8500GT

Apr 1, 2008 - By T. P. Wilkes (Midlands, UK)

The 8500GT is quite a capable card, it plays a lot of the newest games out, bioshock is playable for example, my pc can run doom 3 on ultra settings no problem now, thanks to this. There is a larger 1gb version, but the 512mb version, here, has a faster memory clock, which means it loads things faster, most games don't really need more than 512mb anyway.

I thought the fan was very noisy, but this was because I had upgraded from a fanless card, its really ok. Install was easy, as it is a single slot height card, it also has the advantage of running without an extra power connector, which makes it ideal for slightly older computers. (At least a 350W Power supply is usually reccommended for this level of cards, I'm getting away with a 305W) It is a PCI-E card though, make sure you don't have an AGP slot!

Its sure to give your games a kick, I upgraded from a 7300LE, and it shows. An upgrade from a 7900 though, may not be so noticeable. If I was buying again I would be tempted to shell out a little bit more and go for an 8600. Again, to give your recent games some go, its a great addition for an amazing price.
