Nokia 8800 Scirocco Phone

I bought this phone as a gift for someone and wanted it to be a bit out of the ordinary and to make a statement and this phone does all that.
I know the box is not what matters, but even the packaging says this phone is class!! and it is.The whole thing is a quality item and is so beautiful. I read somewhere that someone thought the sliding opening was not good, that is rubbish, the phone slides open easily. The screen is crystal clear and in fine definition.
The actual number keys are set close together and it could be more difficult to text for someone with big chunky fingers, but sure you would get used to it in time.
There is every feature you need on this phone , but it is done subtley. It does not jump out at you , but if you think I need my phone to do this or that , then this phone will do it.There is a cd rom to accompany the phone to make downloading of photos and video easy.All the functions are Nokia style and you dont need to read the instruction booklet as it is self explanatory.
I would say this phone is expensive and maybe you are paying for the "lifestyle" of it, but to take this phone out in a beautiful place then it just looks the part.For daily use you can use the little leather case to protect it from damage.
This phone is like your old Nokia, familia and easy to use but in the body of a beautiful aerodynamic body.If you have spare cash, then why not? but if you dont like spending too much for a phone, then I am sure there are other types that are just as good.Its personal choice.
