Bought on the Sunday, delivered on Thursday morning thats good for here in the Channel Islands.

Set up the monitor pluged it in and away you go.

Picture was good but not perfect, I couldn't set the resolution to the recommended 1440.

After a bit of thought found my Geforce graphics card had an update available, downloaded it and what a difference, colours great and every thing very sharp just by pressing the "Auto" setup button

I paid a very good price (Bought while on Special Offer) and fast delivery, Recommended

I have previously had a Iiyama 19" 4:3 Apsect Ratio flat screen monitor (i.e. NOT a widescreen). When it died on me I looked for a decent value replacement. Many 19" monitors had poor customer reviews for all manner of reasons - it seems that buying a monitor is very much a minefield experience. So having found this one with 2 great reviews I thought I would give it a go. I have to say I was very disappointed when it arrived. Firstly the size... I had not realised that a 19" widescreen would be much smaller in height than a 19" none-widescreen monitor. The difference is about 1.5". This doesn't sound like much, but it means that I can't run this new monitor opn the same hi-res settings that I have prevciously used for my desktop. Also, there do not seem to be any desktop settings that allow text to be clearly displayed without some disrtortion. The monitor manufacturers have realised this and have provided a monitor setting available at the push of a button which sets the screen into "Text" mode. However, it did not help. Conclusion, only get this monitor if you are happy to run desktop at low res settings otherwise your text integrity will be compromised. Secondly, I found that if I ran the desktop in 4:3 ratio mode to avoid the wildly distorted view you get when a desktop designed to be viewed in 4:3 ratio is forcibly stretched to fit a 16:10 widescreen, the image is letterboxed at the sides. Then watch a DVD and the screen is further letterboxed top and bottom. There is a fix for this - set desktop to 16:10 prior to running your DVD software, then you get full widescreen image. It is very good quality on full widescreen, but when letterboxed there is a lot of backlighting top and bottom (and left and right for that matter). Also, the on/off button lights up bright green when it is on, and this light washes into the visible screen area, not is a seriously bright way but it is noticeable and it is annoying. Crazy!! In conclusion, if you are going to be using your monitor to watch a lot of DVD's then this is a decent option. For anything else, I would say definitely stick with a none widescreen alternative.

I have had the same monitor with my PC. for about ten years,a 15" TFT packard bell and decided to upgrade to a larger widescreen as 15" seemed a little small.I scoured feedback and reviews,not even knowing what size I wanted.With much trepidation I decided to buy a HPW1907V as a christmas present to myself.Firstly 19" is the right size,confirmed by a nice lady at Currys,secondly connecting the monitor is easy, plug in the mains and plug in the vga lead,if you're at the same level as me with these things it's a plug with a knurled screw on either side which comes from your computer,the set up really is easy.As for dead pixels,shiny screens,even shinier bezels forget it,no problem,either someone's neurotic,or the have a vested interest in what they say.

I bought this HP monitor to replace an old 17inch LG flatcreen monitor. The size is just right for me and the price was good. The colours and the sharpness of the images displayed on this monitor are extremely good, noticeable difference from my last monitor. I play a lot of games and so far they've looked great. My only gripe is the integrated speakers, which lack volume and bass. Overall I'm pleased with this monitor.
