superb
after a lot of frustrating research and not being impressed in-store with hdtvs in general, but knowing i really wanted one for my xbox 360 gaming, i asked at avforums and this was recommended for my budget.
it's fantastic. digital tv via freeview looks really good, nice inbuilt tv guide, hardly any smudging or blurring occurs, colours are very nice. plays dvds with motion really well and blacks are very black to me. and finally the xbox 360 looks heavenly on it. the design is sleek, solid build, loads of inputs. i am very happy.

The best value lcd tv yet
My parents bought this tv last week and I was amazed at two things;
1. How simple Panasonic have made it to set up. The desktop stand is fitted at factory, plug in and within 3 minutes it had stored all analogue and freeview channels, and prompted you to change the display from 'dynamic' to normal.
2. The viewing angle is very wide, as good in this respect as both my Hitachi plasmas.
The picture quality is very good, even on the default settings.I could hardly tell the difference between sky (connected to the only RGB enabled scart AV1) and the onboard tuner. Even vcr recordings are watchable.
It blows their old Philips 25" crt tv out of the water!
The 2 HDMI inputs will also be useful if upgrading to sky HD and HD DVD in the future.
There is also an analogue tuner which is handy for teletext and also a 14:9 screen ratio option (which analogue tv is broadcast in).
The set is well made and looks superb finished in matt black (I personally think the Samsung shiny gloss black sets look garish and actually detract from the tv picture when set is on).
It does not swivel on it's stand but is light enough to be easily moved around, by the way did I mention that wide viewing angle...
You can buy this model for less than £600.00. There really is no need to spend more than this on a 32" tv at present,(the panel technology is constantly being improved) and I believe this lcd tv represents the best value yet. Highly recommended.

overall pretty good
I bought this tv after much research I must say i am pleased with the overall quality, the speakers are fine, you will see a major difference in picture quality depending on what you are watching and what inputs you use, rgb scart is fine for tv (i have virgin cable) older progs and films can be grainy and blurred,
as some of the other reviews have stated the newer the dvd the better the quality tends to be, I also own a panasonic dvd recorder and the two work well together, using one remote. in essence sometimes i miss the uniformity of my old crt telly sometimes im blown away by how good the panasonic can be.

Great picture!
I can't compare this with other LCD TV's because this is my first, but I'm very satisfied so far. I intended to get a Philips but I was assured that there was nothing better than the Panasonic; I can't see any reason to doubt it. As well as the picture quality which, presumably, would be even better if I had access to HD (haven't upgraded my Sky package), I'm happy with the easy set-up, the helpful manual and the remote control. Even my wife is impressed, after being appalled at the idea of spending a substantial sum on replacing a 24 inch CRT which she thought was adequate enough.
I like the ability to have teletext and picture on screen at the same time; the only thing it lacks that I intended to have on the Philips is the USB port for viewing JPEG photos but you can do that anyway through a dvd player. There's also PC access if you want it.

Truly five star!
This TV will delight even the most fastidious consumer. The picture is excellent in terms of natural rendition of colour, contrast and the ability of the set to cope with fast movement. Remember too this is a 100HZ set - the picture is flicker free and somehow does appear steadier. The sound is also excellent although given the slim profile of the set the bass is not very deep but certainly adequate. The design and ergonomics are good too and menus are easy to navigate as is the remote control. The styling is subtle but looks better than many of the "glossy black" competitors and is predominantly black with silver highlighting. The home entertainment press love this set and it's easy to see why as it delivers superlative vision and high quality sound. The TV is dead easy to set up and within three minutes out of the box had tuned all the DVB/terrestial channels and was delivering breathtaking picture quality. This is a high quality but excellent value for money product and, therefore, it comes recommended - buy it with confidence - they don't come better than this!
