Good, cheap and reliable

Desperately wanted to get a freeview box, stumbled upon this. unpacked and installed easily enough - although it had no SCART cable.

installation of channels took less than 5mins, and everything is fine!!

Does what it says on the box

(4 out of 5) by M. West on Nov 21, 2007 (Up North, England)
Picked this up a few weeks ago; took a couple of mins to set up and maybe another 5 for it to pick up all of the available channels.

Good value; enough features for what I need (haven't even looked at manual to see what the full feature set is).

The only minor niggle is the remote as I think the layout could've been better. But for the price, I'm not complaining. Definitely recommended!

Cheap and (thus far) reliable

This is the third digibox I purchased; the previous two (from Digilogic and one other no-name) failed within weeks of the purchase). This one lasted for a month with no problems - fingers crossed!

Cheap and really not worth it

(1 out of 5) by MaxLondon on Sep 5, 2008 (London)
Bought one of these a while ago and it's really not that good. It may be cheap but quite frankly, with the experience I've had with it, is not worth the money.
I had to return the first one I bought as it just stopped working. The replacement they gave me still works - just. It freezes on occasion, it frequently loses all the program info it should have stored, it switches off when it feels like it and then needs to be re-tuned. This has happened so many times I have lost count. At one stage I stopped using it completely as it jammed up nearly every time I used it.

So, my experience of it has been one of frustration and very poor customer experience. I will spend more on the next one I get.

Cheap and cheerful

(5 out of 5) by MinardiMan on Feb 21, 2009 (UK)
Works very well. Purchased about 18 months ago for my student digs and has been lugged around various rooms, from one side of the country to the other several times and it still works. It just refuses to die. I can't really think of anything bad to say about it really. The tuner in the box is very sensitive, and will pick up even the weakest of signals - I've received freeview from Oxford while in Stoke on Trent before. All in all, more than excellent. Reccomended.
