Love this drive
(5 out of 5) by b00kmark1t on Oct 10, 2007Can't really fault this drive, fast enough and comes with U3 and readyboost for vista. The U3 stuff is great if you are using many different computers and want easy and secure access to email, Skype, messaging, etc. If you just want to use it for transferring files about then you can disable all that stuff and just use it as a normal flash drive only.
My main reason for buying this one though is the retraction mechanism on the USB plug. I hate the ones with little caps that are easily lost. This one has a beautifully smooth slider mechanism and securely clicks open and closed. In fact I enjoy just sitting and repeatedly sliding it open and closed for a while - very theraputic :-)
I've had it for 4+ months now and no problems. Those that don't like the slider mech are probably pushing the catch down while inserting it - thus unlocking it. Once you have it locked out then you can insert it very forcefully and it won't retract, just don't press the slider!
Overall very pleased with it.
