Simplicity is the key word with this kind of device and to a very small extent it fails to deliver. *Very* small. The DTV works well as does the analog TV, and the AV via a composite or S-Video breakout cable supplied. Recording is simplicity itself, however, extracting the recording for playback outwith the provided Elgato Lite software is a little complicated. Even so, it is a great product. Now the small annoyance is changing from Analog to Digital Tuner in the software - it involves re-running the setup program each time which is why I give this four stars instead of five. All in all pretty good and not a bad price when I bought it.

Now happily watching TV on my Mac. Easy to set up even for a numpty like me. You do need a hybrid stick to work with a satellite dish. (Wish I'd known that before buying a digital stick first! ;0))
