I was delighted and surprised that this inexpensive combo worked with my 4th gen. Nano. Having had all sorts of issues with a genuine iPod connector in the car, which refused to charge the Nano, and a 12V cigarette lighter USB adaptor that also refused, I was doubtful that these 3 items would work. How wrong I was. All 3 items work perfectly, though for some reason the docking plug initially seemed reluctant to fit. When I checked it with a magnifying glass next to the genuine iPod lead that came with the Nano, I could detect no difference, so tried again - and it located effortlessly. Must have been my initial nervousness at not wanting to damage my new 'toy'!

Bought this item based on the first review. Had been looking on the Apple shop website and was put off by high prices.

This is a super piece of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin. So impressed I'm just about to order my Dad one too.

Great Item and at a great price. I was surprised by the speed of delivery. Works in the car and on the computer just like it should - you cannot beat this kit at the price.

Just the thing if you are away from your PC or docking station keeps the tunes rolling on first class.

This was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I ordered it. It works with all my ipods: 1st, 3rd and 4thG Nano, ipod Touch and Video, both in the house and in the car. The item is compact and lightweight, ideal for travelling.
The only downside for me is the size of the car adaptor (~2") - since my lighter socket is in a drawer, I can't close it because the unit is quite tall, but that's the car's fault!
Excellent value for money - I bought two!
