I wanted a tv to compliment my Sony PS3 and naturally my search began with sony tv's. After several visits to various stores my comparisons found that pound for pound there is not a great deal which seperates the high end tv's to midrange ones. HD sources viewed on this set are equal to other sets costing more. Where this set really comes to life is when you view full 1080p signals from a PS3 or sky HD. Images are clean crisp and unlike other TV's motion smearing/image lag is virtually non existent making action movies a joy to watch. There are enough picture tuning tweaks to set up the display to your liking. Whilst the sound from the speakers is not powerfull it's better than some of the sets i heard. I am extremely happy in the knowledge that i made the right choice in buying this set. A big well done to Toshiba for designing a cracking TV. My advise is you go and audition this set and see for yourself.

My telly arrived yesterday along with some other kit and I couldn't be happier, I have no access to high def broadcasts so it's performance in SD was quite important and I'm not disappointend at all. Then I set up and watched my new HD-DVD player and in 1080p this panel is great. To sum up, if you're after a large flat panel at a reasonable price point, you can't go too far wrong with this TV. Well done Toshiba!!!

This is a super TV - the sound and picture quality are outstanding, even on freeview. The TV looks good with a high quality finish, a bargain at this price.

Had this TV over a year now. It seems very good up to now. Top quality in terms of style and feel. Picture and sound are very good. PS3 Blu Ray plays beautiful through this.
