Poor Quality Product
Like others here, I bought this unit for my children, and found the DVD player to be unacceptably noisy. When I hooked it up to the external arial the Freeview channels all worked and the picture is now pretty good, so as a TV it works fine. Real pity about the noisy DVD player though.

Waste of Money
I purchased this tv for my sons bedroom. We already have several Freeview tvs in the house so there are no signal issues , however the Easy Touch Tv would not recieve any signals for the DVT or the analogue. Product returned.

I'm begging you - PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS TELEVISION!
Where to start! When I first came across this television I thought that it was such a bargain, I mean built in multi DVD, 1080i HD and Freeview. Don't be fooled. I don't usually badmouth things but this is a piece of junk. It really is. After about three days of usage, there was a very annoying green dead pixel on the LCD monitor. The built in DVD player is handy but it is extremely loud. It fools you into thinking that it has built in freeview, when in actual fact you still need to buy an indoor aerial, and a good one at that - it's an awful picture. The only good display on this TV is when I played either my PS3 or BluRay discs, and it looked perfect. But, after about 20 minutes of playing in 720p or 1080i HD quality, it seriously messed up the whole television. The inputs of Scart, Freeview, DVD, HDMI, PC, everything was messed up. The screen would go blank, then various colours would appear, then the display would come up extremely blurry and disorientated. The menu is practically in Japanese, it does not have any idea what it's talking about and it uses pictures from other televisions even though Easy Touch only makes this TV! The website is also ridiculous, it has one e-mail address for EVERYTHING. Contact, technical support, enquiries, businesses, etc. I am getting this refunded via Amazon as it broke so soon and I am spending a tiny bit extra on a 19" in either LG, Samsung or Sony. Trust me guys, please don't buy this television, or ignore the reviews and think yours will be fine. That's what I did - and look what happened! PLEASE, if you want next generation gaming or outstanding realism for your films and TV, save up at least £25 and buy a popular maked one, like LG, Sony or Samsung. Otherwise, you'll have rubbish technical support and end up with a piece of junk. I can't even try and see if it works anymore before I send it off, as the plug socket has broken apart. VERY RELIABLE? I don't think so..

Dodgy Standby
Now had this TV for just over a year, and now have major issues with starting the TV from Standby, whether you either use the remote of the button on the side to start, the TV will attempt to start, but will just put itself back to standby. If you persist in trying to start it will eventually start, but not always with picture or sound. It's now been 4 weeks putting up with continuously restarting to eventually get it to work but now it doesn't even kick into life after dozens of attempts.
Both Manufacturer and Amazon are having nothing to do with fixing, as just outside of warranty. So I guess I either need to buy new or have fixed, either way won't be an Easy Touch product or from Amazon, both have let this customer down.
Search the web, you'll find a number of other customers having the same issue with this product, which would indicate a faulty design or component. I now need to find out if can be repaired and at what cost.
Do a bit of research first before buying this produce.
Happy shopping.
