I have exactly the same laptop I bought yesterday, except mine is the slightly smaller hard drive with 80G. But everything else is the same. Battery power is good. The screen display is good. Wireless reception is strong. Plus Acer have an international warrantee service, meaning you can take it to nearly any country and still get it serviced at their local office there. Windows Vista runs fine on it, and if you want , windows lets you tweak the performance easily by going into the Control Panel settings. When you buy it, make sure you have 2 blank DVD discs handy because when you first turn it on, it takes about 40 mins to finish installing Windows for you. Then it prompts you to create rescue discs using the blank DVDs I meantioned earlier, which you can do later if you want. Then you are up and running.
