This kind of drive has become a bit of a lame horse in the eyes of the industry - with good reason - but when replacing the older slower drive in a Sony VAIO, this was the only option (and supplier) I could find.
I am very pleased to report that it not only performs better, but also much quieter! It now behaves like a new machine which will extend it's life for some time to come.

Great HDD
